  • Faculty and staff will begin using Concur for travel and expense management on Aug. 8. Review this important information to prepare for the launch.
  • Traffic reminder: Mary Alexander Road is closed from the East Deck roundabout to the Levine Hall roundabout until 5 p.m., Friday, July 26, for repairs near the Robinson Hall bus stop. Lot 28 will remain open with access from East Deck. The crosswalks will be closed; pedestrians should use the ADA lot by Johnson Band Center.
  • Beginning 10 p.m., Friday, July 19, through 1 a.m., Saturday, July 20, OneIT will complete important network software upgrades to manage the network and web traffic. No outage is expected; however, if there is an unexpected problem and you cannot reach UNC Charlotte Police and Public Safety at 704-687-2200 during this time, please dial 911 to reach CMPD or use the LiveSafe app.
  • Beginning 8 p.m., Monday, July 22, through 6 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 1, some lanes will be closed on Cameron Blvd. at the HWY 49 entrance for utility work.
  • International students are available this fall to present in classes as part of the Cultural Ambassadors program. Faculty members who are interested in a classroom presentation should complete the online request form by Aug. 7.
  • The Center for Teaching and Learning will offer three weeks of faculty development workshops on high-impact and innovative teaching strategies starting Monday, Aug. 12. View the schedule and register now!
  • Do you know a 49er deserving of an Alumni Award, Excellence in Leadership or 10 Under Ten Award? The nomination deadline is Aug. 31.

  • Reminder: The Bank of America ATM at the Prospector Building will be out of service July 29-30 for replacement.
