Meet Jordyn Lindberg

Jordyn Lindberg, a senior majoring in international studies, dreams of moving to Sweden. Lindberg is a proud legacy Niner; her maternal grandfather and both of her parents graduated from UNC Charlotte.

• A.J. Wilson ’23 and Ryan Degges ’25 were selected by the Philadelphia Phillies on day three of the 2024 MLB Draft; Kaden Hopson ’24 and Tony Rossi ’24 signed as undrafted free agents following the draft. Hopson signed with the Los Angeles Angels, and Rossi joined the New York Yankees.
• Reminder: Beginning at 8 p.m., today, Monday, July 22, through 6 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 1, some lanes will be closed on Cameron Boulevard at the Highway 49 entrance for utility work.
• The Center for Wellness Promotion is hosting virtual Green Dot Training from 2 to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 24. Registration is required through the Learning and Development Portal.
• Register to attend a webinar to understand the benefits and features of the NC supplemental retirement plans from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 24.
• 49er Mart users are invited to attend the 49er Mart Virtual Forum from 2 to 4 p.m., Thursday, July 25. Registration is encouraged on the Learning and Development Portal, and more information is on the 49er Mart message board.
• Starting Friday, July 26, all students, faculty and staff should log into Microsoft 365 services (Word, PPT, Excel) using their ninernet@charlotte.edu email address instead of ninernet@uncc.edu address.
• Human resources is hosting an HR Power Hour webinar at noon, Tuesday, July 30, dedicated to the educational benefits offered to Charlotte employees and how to utilize the tuition waiver program.
• Employees can visit the Securian website for topic-specific resources related to the UNC System Voluntary Life and AD&D plan. Topics include beneficiary designation, how life insurance works and other topics on making informed decisions about the importance of life insurance.
