Eric Heberlig interviewed for ‘New voter registration surges after Biden drops out’

Heberlig, a professor of political science, said younger voters have leaned more to the left of the political spectrum since 2004. He said lately young women voters are continuing the trend, but their male counterparts are more likely to vote for conservative candidates.
“We’ll have to see whether the shift to Kamala Harris rather than Joe Biden affects that gender division in younger voters,” Heberlig said.
