- Applications Open: Permanent, full-time non-faculty employees of the UNC System are encouraged to apply for the Janet B. Royster Memorial Staff Scholarship Fund toward earning a degree or other professional certification; applications are due Monday, Sept. 30.
- Trainers Wanted: If you are interested in providing instructor-led training (virtual and in person) in the Learning and Development Portal, please fill out the Google form; learn more about the portal.
- Poll Everywhere Training: Register for the Poll Everywhere Presenter Training interactive workshop at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 11, and discover the power of real-time polling to enhance audience engagement.
- Green Dot Training: The Center for Wellness Promotion is hosting a virtual Green Dot Training from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 18. Learn to recognize, react and prevent sexual assault, dating violence and stalking. Registration is required through the Learning and Development Portal.

The Fall Career and Internship Fair, hosted by University Career Center, is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 13, in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center. The fair, open to all majors and class years, will feature more than 200 employers and graduate programs offering full-time jobs, internships and co-ops.

- Gig Training positions are available. These are project-based learning experiences that can assist students with acquiring more marketable skills while getting paid along the way; applications close Friday, Sept. 6.

- First-year and transfer legacy families are invited to attend the annual Family Weekend Legacy Lunch, Friday, Sept. 13; registration ends Friday, Sept. 6.
- Register for a virtual Mental Health First Aid training scheduled for 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17 and Thursday, Sept. 19. This national program teaches skills on how to respond to someone struggling with distress or suicide ideation.
- Attend a Green Dot Training from 5 to 6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 12, to learn to recognize, react and prevent interpersonal violence at Charlotte. We must all do our part to prevent sexual assault, dating violence and stalking on campus.

- Participate in the Light Rail Scavenger Hunt at 3 p.m., Friday, Sept. 6, at the UNC Charlotte Main Station with your team and your CATS All-Access Pass! Teams will have four hours and nine minutes to complete tasks at different light rail stations. Registration is required.
