Michael Rogers honored with Governor’s Award for Excellence

Michael Rogers, general trades manager in maintenance operations, received the Governor’s Award for Excellence in the category of outstanding state government service. This is the highest honor a North Carolina state employee can receive for service to the state and its residents. Learn more by watching this video.

• A Fun Fall Festival: Close to 600 Charlotte staff members attended this year’s fall festival, sponsored by Staff Council, to enjoy food, activities and an opportunity to support the First Ward Creative Arts Academy.
• ACE Awards: The 2024 49er ACE Awards and Appreciation Lunch, hosted by the 49er Alumni Campus Employees Network, is 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 11. The deadline to register is Monday, Oct. 28.
