ESPN’s afternoon edition of SportsCenter will broadcast live from the CHHS/CoED Plaza starting at 2 p.m., today, ahead of tonight’s home football game against Tulane.
- Pack the Plaza: The Charlotte campus community is encouraged to view the show from the plaza and be featured in the background showcasing their best 49er spirit.
- Download Mini Signs: Show your 49er pride on SportsCenter with these Niner designs.
- Football Game Day Parking: Please review important parking and transportation information for tonight’s home football game; 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
- Tickets to the game are available for purchase. Secure your spot before it’s too late.

- First-Generation Kickoff: Visit Belk Plaza from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 4, to kick off First Generation week with a gathering of first-gen students and supporters! Start your week strong with activities, resources and the chance to connect with peers.
- Open Enrollment: For those eligible for the time extension due to Hurricane Helene, the final day to complete your Open Enrollment elections is tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 1.
- NinerResearch Down: NinerResearch will be down beginning at 7 a.m., Friday, Nov. 8. To prevent unexpected complications, it is recommended that all submissions due Nov. 8 are ready for final review and submission on Thursday, Nov. 7. Applications for faculty research grants are now due Wednesday, Nov. 13.

- Off-Campus Housing Fair: Considering living off campus next year but not sure where to start? Register for the virtual Off-Campus Housing Fair at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 6, to learn about off-campus apartment complexes and on-campus resources.

Behind the Student Union Theater’s Spooky Season Selections
Starting tonight through Sunday, Nov. 3, the Union Theater in Popp Martin Student Union is showing two Halloween classics: “Friday the 13th” and “Hocus Pocus.” Get to know the Niner who handpicked these spooky selections, Jojo Lara Roque.
Other Halloween Happenings:
- Día De Los Muertos: Celebrate the vibrant traditions of Día de los Muertos and learn about study abroad programs in Mexico with the study abroad ambassadors from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., today, at the Popp Martin Student Union front porch.
- Halloween-Themed Bake Sale: Purchase spooky treats from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. by Prospector. Proceeds benefit the Women’s Club Soccer team.
