- Recognizing Researchers at Charlotte: Researchers from across UNC Charlotte who led research projects with $1 million or more in external funding in 2024 were honored Wednesday, March 27.
- Earth Day Festival Today: Don’t miss out on the Earth Day Festival, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., today, Thursday, April 3, in Belk Plaza. Register to participate in Campus Beautification Day Wednesday, April 9.
- Atkins Delayed Opening: Atkins Library will open at 8 a.m. instead of 7 a.m., Friday, April 4, due to a scheduled power outage.
- Website Updates Coming: UNC Charlotte is launching a redeveloped website beginning Tuesday, April 15, with the first step of a phased rollout designed to improve user experience, accessibility and visual design. Visit the FAQs page for more details.
- New Mandatory P-Card Program Training: This new training will be assigned to all University P-card account holders by Wednesday, April 9. Account holders have until Thursday, May 15, to complete the UNC System Office-required training, which can be accessed through the learning and development portal. UNC Charlotte Club Snowboarders Competed at National Championships
Ten snowboarders from UNC Charlotte’s Ski and Snowboard Club competed in the U.S. Collegiate Ski and Snowboard National Championships March 10-15, at Mount Bachelor in Bend, Oregon. Club leaders Josh Marsico and Madeline Lay share their experiences at nationals.

Register by Monday, April 7, to attend the 2025 AI Summit for Smarter Learning, sponsored by the Center for Teaching and Learning , scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, at The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City. This year’s program focuses on human-AI partnerships in teaching and learning. The day includes sessions on AI literacy and competence, disciplinary uses, classroom experiences, ethics and more.
