The outstanding 2025 Staff Employee of the Year Award recipients were honored for their hard work and dedication to the campus community and beyond at a reception Wednesday, April 23, in the Popp Martin Student Union.

Students Solve Global Challenges Brick by Brick
Could the design of a brick reduce the spread of malaria? A UNC Charlotte course cross-listed between architecture and civil engineering challenges conventional thinking and explores the untapped potential of the humble brick.
