Background about the Campus Master Plan

The 2010 Campus Master Plan was updated to re-envision a comprehensive campus plan to support the implementation of the University’s strategic plan, Shaping What’s Next. The campus master plan determined needs and guided development of the physical elements of campus including facilities, space, transportation, parking, housing, utilities, infrastructure and the outdoor environment for the next decade, through 2035. The campus master plan resulted in a comprehensive development plan that integrates the University’s goals for academic excellence, research, student experience, community programs and engagement, talent and workforce cultivation and sustainability.
