How to Make a Direct Impact on Students, Swipe Out Hunger This Giving Tuesday and more
This Holiday Season, Make a Direct Impact on Charlotte Students
This Giving Tuesday, please support the Student Emergency Fund and the Jamil Niner Student Pantry to help Charlotte students stay enrolled, focused and healthy. From emergency financial assistance for unexpected crises to access to nutritious, culturally appropriate groceries, your gift provides immediate relief and long-term stability.
- Give Today: Visit Charlotte’s Giving Tuesday website to explore ways to give and learn about the impact of your gift. You may also purchase items from the pantry wishlist.

Swipe Out Hunger this Giving Tuesday
One in three college students struggles with food insecurity — but your meal swipe can help change that. Open the Niner Diners Mobile Ordering app, tap “Swipe Out Hunger” under seasonal specials, select “Swipe Donation” and check out. You can donate one swipe per transaction — donate up to two swipes, if you can!
- No meal plan? No problem! Make a difference through a small donation to the Student Emergency Fund or Jamil Niner Student Pantry, or purchase items from the pantry wishlist. You can also share the Giving Tuesday link on social media.
- Campus Food Drive: The Levine Scholars Program and Phi Kappa Phi are hosting a campus food drive through Friday, Nov. 21, to benefit the Jamil Niner Student Pantry. Drop-off locations include King, Levine and Woodward halls, Prospector and Fretwell Building (Dean’s Office 430H).
