Wishing you a restful and peaceful winter break

Categories: Faculty/Staff

As the calendar year comes to a close and we look forward to the upcoming break, we want to extend our deepest gratitude for your hard work, dedication, and resilience throughout this past year. Your commitment is what makes UNC Charlotte such a vibrant and productive community.
We encourage you to use this valuable time away from the workplace to truly disengage, recharge and prioritize your personal well-being.

Prioritize Rest and Connection

The demands of the academic year are significant, and rest is not a luxury — it is a necessity. Please consider this time a valuable opportunity to focus on the things that matter most:

  • Mental and Physical Health: Step away from email and professional tasks. Dedicate time to activities that bring you joy, reduce stress and restore your energy, whether that means a favorite hobby, exercise, or quiet reflection.
  • Friends and Family: Cherish the opportunity to be fully present with your loved ones. Make new memories and strengthen those essential connections.
  • Simply Be: Give yourself permission to slow down, savor the small moments, and enter the new year feeling refreshed and centered.
