Congratulations, 2025 fall graduates
More than 3,100 degrees and certificates — at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate levels — were conferred during UNC Charlotte’s 2025 Fall Commencement ceremonies held in Dale F. Halton Arena Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12-13.
Here are just a few of the many great moments from the three ceremonies.

Graduates were all smiles before entering Halton Arena to receive their undergraduate degrees during the morning commencement ceremony on Friday, Dec. 12.

Jeanne-Marie “Ree” Linker, senior lecturer of mathematics and statistics, was University marshal for the Friday morning commencement ceremony for the Belk College of Business, College of Computing and Informatics, Cato College of Education and Klein College of Science.

Jamari Sharp addresses the Class of 2025 during the Friday morning commencement ceremony. He completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration and operations and supply chain management from the Belk College of Business.

Emily Hoyle, senior class president, leads graduates to turn their tassels during the Friday morning ceremony. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and communication studies from the College of Humanities & Earth and Social Sciences.

Cassietta Broadhead served as bell ringer for the Friday afternoon ceremony. She completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of Humanities & Earth and Social Sciences. The old bell, or Victory Bell, is rung nine times, once for each of the eight academic colleges and once for the Graduate School.

During the Graduate School ceremony and conferral of degrees on Saturday, 82 individuals were recognized for completing a doctoral degree.
