Get ready for the spring 2026 semester at Charlotte
The spring 2026 semester has arrived. Here’s what you need to know to prepare for this new semester at UNC Charlotte.
Spring Reminders
- Parking: Spring parking permits are now on sale through MyPark.
- Textbooks: Students are automatically enrolled in the Niner Course Pack, often saving students 35-50% off course materials. Students who wish to opt out of the Niner Course Pack must do so by Monday, Jan. 26.
- Meal Plans: Spring meal plans are available. The last day to change a meal plan is Friday, Jan. 30. A $25 administrative fee will apply.
Dining Updates
- Oasis Café’s New Breakfast Hours: This semester, the Oasis Cafe will open at 8:30 a.m., with breakfast options including parfaits, overnight oats and breakfast sandwiches, all priced under $6.
- Halal Shack Menu and Pricing Update: Based on student feedback, Halal Shack has a new 24-ounce sized bowl at a lower price point. It also features new offerings including mac and cheese and tenders and fries.
- Charlotte Greens Mobile Order Update: Charlotte Greens mobile orders are now more convenient and accurate. Order using the Niner Diners Mobile Ordering app, and get notified through the app when your food is ready; present your QR code at checkout to receive your order.
Convenience on Campus
- Passports: Visit Union Station in the Popp Martin Student Union for passport and shipping services.
- Printing: Have a unique print project? The FedEx Office print center can now take walk-ins in lower Prospector.
- 49er Laundry: The service offers pickups for laundry and dry cleaning on campus. Find lockers at North Deck and South Village Deck.
- E-scooters: Try a Lime ride on campus. Sign up in the app with your @charlotte.edu email address to get discounted student pricing.

- Niner Diners Mobile Ordering (skip the line, and customize your order)
