Charlotte Welcomes Kevin White as Director of Athletics
Kevin White has been named the next director of athletics at UNC Charlotte. White assumes the top spot in the athletic department after spending the previous four years as deputy director of athletics at Clemson University. He will lead Charlotte Athletics as the program continues its upward trajectory in the American and positions itself for sustained competitive excellence.

Niner Guides is a volunteer organization where students share a genuine love for Charlotte by leading campus tours for future 49ers and their families. - Tax support: Members of the UNC Charlotte community who earn $68,000 or less annually are invited to have their income taxes prepared free of charge through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program at UNC Charlotte. Appointments are first come, first served.
- Self-appraisals coming: Self-appraisals open on NinerTalent Sunday, March 1, through Tuesday, March 31.
- Grant cash management: Effective Sunday, March 1, grant cash management will transition from the Division of Business Affairs to the Division of Research. This organizational shift is designed to optimize the invoicing process for externally funded projects and foster a more collaborative approach to award management.
- 1095‑C Form Update: The University’s vendor has reported a technical issue that delayed processing of the 1095‑C forms. The forms are expected to be mailed by Monday, March 2. Form 1095‑C is not required to file your federal tax return.
- Banner offline: Banner will be offline for a scheduled upgrade from 7 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 7. Learn more about impacted systems.

- HRL summer jobs: Housing and residence life is hiring resident advisors, maintenance assistants, BES custodial staff, conference housing assistants and team leaders, and housing ambassadors. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m., Friday, March 6.
