UNC Charlotte meteorology is gaining regional attention as enrollment in the program has more than tripled in recent years. A new partnership with WSOC-TV is providing students with the technology and expertise they need to excel in a rapidly evolving field.
- Fuel future meteorologists: UNC Charlotte’s Student Organization of Meteorology Club (STORM) is crowdfunding to send members to the 2027 American Meteorological Society Annual Meeting in Denver. This event is the largest gathering of meteorologists in the world, and can impact the lives of students at Charlotte.
