Categories: Faculty/Staff

UNC Charlotte Youth Programs is bringing big energy to campus on Saturday, Oct. 17, with a lineup of one-day workshops designed to spark curiosity and fuel learning for students in grades 3–12. These fast-paced, hands-on sessions deliver skill-building experiences that make Saturday feel anything but ordinary.

  • EOG Math Prep: Monster Math Bootcamp (Grades 3–4): Help your child build end-of-grade confidence. Students will strengthen essential math concepts and master key test-taking strategies in a supportive environment.
  • Crime Scene Investigators (Grades 5–8): Step into the shoes of a forensic scientist. Participants will collect evidence, analyze clues and work together to solve a mock crime scene case.
  • Financial Literacy for Teens (Grades 9–12): Set your high schooler up for financial success. This hands-on workshop covers the fundamentals of budgeting, saving, smart spending and money management.

The workshops will take place on UNC Charlotte’s main campus from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with drop-off beginning at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $85 per workshop.
