Charlotte branding update

“Thanks are due to the entire campus for the incredible work supporting the updated branding this past academic year. From students to the broader community, we’ve received positive feedback and our logo is increasingly prominent and visible. As we continue to strengthen the University’s profile, having this strong and cohesive identity will help further build brand equity,” said Beth Crigler, interim vice chancellor for the Division of University Advancement.

Several related updates are planned for the 2022-23 academic year:

Campus and building signage

Continued updates to campus signage are in progress. Main directional signage, street signs, transit and some heavily trafficked interior spaces have been completed. Units, departments and offices will soon receive direction on interior signage replacement including information on process, timelines and budget.

Updated stationery/business cards

Please be sure all stationery and business cards now reflect the updated mark. Here is a link to those resources. Smaller runs may be ordered from Repros, sent via email with the necessary information.

Email address

We plan to start shifting email addresses to charlotte.edu by the end of the academic year. More details will be forthcoming from OneIT this fall. Until that is official, please continue to use uncc.edu.

Logos and sub-brands
Logos and sub-brands have been provided to area communicators and these may not be altered in any way. If you have outstanding logo needs, please contact your campus communicator.

75th anniversary materials

Please discontinue use of the 75th anniversary logo, including on virtual background. We are pleased to be entering our 76th year – Go Niners!
