HR announces 2021 Employee of the Year recipients
Four individuals and the Return to Campus Kit Group team are this year’s Employees of the Year as announced by the Human Resources Department.
Mindy Sides-Walsh, director of Leadership & Community Engagement, is the 2021 Employee of the Year in the category Devotion to Duty. In the Human Relations category, Krista Collins, learning and development specialist for Facilities Management, is the recipient. Chris Gonyar, director of Emergency Management, is the Safety/Heroism category winner, and Angie Williams, business services coordinator in the English Department, is the recipient for Community/Public Service.
The Return to Campus Kit Group team is the winner for Innovation. Team members are Katharina Findlater, Horace Lytch, Rachel Skipworth and Rick Torres from the Division of Business Affairs.
The 2021 Employees of the Year were chosen from among the 40 staff members who were nominated either individually or as members of four teams. Recipients and employees celebrating five-year milestone work anniversaries will be honored at a virtual recognition event on Friday, April 23. Register for the event here.
