- Veterans Day Message from the Chancellor: Chancellor Sharon L. Gaber encourages Niner Nation to honor the veterans in our campus community ahead of Veterans Day on Monday.
- New Associate University Ombuds: Jen Amano has been named associate university ombuds, serving as a confidential, impartial resource to help undergraduate students work through challenging problems, conflicts and dilemmas in informal ways.
- Award Nomination Deadlines: The nomination deadline for the Harshini V. de Silva Graduate Mentor Award is Friday, Nov. 8, and the deadline for the 2025 First Citizens Bank Scholars Medal is Friday, Nov. 15.
- Veterans Day Dining: Dining services is offering a free meal for veterans and active military with the purchase of a regularly priced meal at Bistro in Popp Martin Student Union on Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 11. Check Dine on Campus for menus and hours.

AAC Tournament Quarterfinals on Campus: UNC Charlotte men’s soccer takes on Temple University in the American Athletic Conference tournament quarterfinals, Friday, Nov. 9, at Transamerica Field. The 49ers are seeking their second straight AAC tournament title and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
