Congratulations, 2025 Summer Graduates
UNC Charlotte conferred more than 1,000 degrees during the 2025 Summer Commencement ceremony held in Dale F. Halton Arena Aug. 9.

More than 300 individuals were awarded doctoral degrees, master’s degrees and graduate certificates during commencement.

Pennda Arami, bell ringer for the ceremony, completed dual master’s degrees in criminal justice and criminology as well as ethics and applied philosophy. The Victory Bell is rung nine times, once for each of the eight academic colleges and once for the Graduate School.

These graduates are all smiles as the confetti falls in celebration of their achievements.
