ESPN’s SportsCenter live from campus Thursday, Sept. 18

ESPN’s afternoon edition of SportsCenter will broadcast live with anchor Matt Barrie at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept, 18, from the CHHS/CoEd Plaza

Students, faculty, staff, alumni, fans and guests are encouraged to view the show from within the plaza and be featured in the background showcasing their best 49er spirit. Members of the 49ers cheer squads, Norm the Niner and the band will attend, too.

Fans coming to view the show are encouraged to park in the Union Deck or the Cone Deck. Game day parking and tailgating begins at 4:30 p.m.

Barrie, alongside analyst Tom Luginbill, will call Thursday evening’s football game between the Charlotte 49ers and the Rice Owls. Kick off will be at 7:30 p.m. in Jerry Richardson Stadium.

SportsCenter, ESPN’s flagship program, is a daily sports news television program offering breaking news, highlights, features and in-depth analysis from award-winning journalists, with multiple live editions airing daily.
