UNC Charlotte housing report shows affordable housing is critically scarce even with improved supply

Yongqiang Chu, the lead researcher behind the State of Housing in Charlotte report, said the city’s median home price is up 3% compared to September 2024, even as prices in other U.S. cities have fallen.
