Congratulations on making it to the end of the semester, Niners! Final exams begin today and run through Wednesday, Dec. 10. Review the final exam schedule here. As a reminder, Atkins Library will be open 24 hours during exam week.

- PaTS Survey: Please provide your feedback to influence the future of parking and transportation at Charlotte. Those who complete the 10- to 15-minute survey will be entered into a random drawing for one of five $100 Barnes & Noble Charlotte gift cards.
- Extended OneIT Maintenance: Learn about the extended maintenance work OneIT will complete Monday, Dec. 15, through Sunday, Dec. 21.
- 2026 Insurance Cards: All employees enrolled in the State Health Plan for 2026, regardless of action taken during open enrollment, will receive a new Aetna ID card, which will include a new ID number. Members will need to begin using this card Thursday, Jan. 1, for all medical and pharmacy services. The 2025 ID card will not work in 2026.
- Daily Rental Rate Update: Due to increases in vehicle insurance premiums and other associated expenses, fleet management is adjusting the daily rental rate for 15-passenger vans. Effective Thursday, Jan. 1, the new daily rate will be $78 per day. Reservations already approved will receive the current rate of $48 per day.
- Congratulations Soccer Alumni: Sean Suber ’23 and Brigham Larsen ’24 are USL Champions after their club, Riverhounds SC, captured the league cup.

All fall graduates and up to four guests are invited to celebrate their Charlotte journeys at Forever a Niner from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 11, in the Popp Martin Student Union, Room 340. Alumni communities, including the Black Alumni Chapter, Legacy Alumni Network, Latino/a Alumni Network, GOLD Alumni Network, LGBTQIA+ Alumni Network, Niner Varsity Club and First-Generation Niners, along with college deans, will be at the event to help celebrate all graduates.
- 49er Ring Ceremony: Fall 2025 graduates are invited to participate in the Official 49er Ring Ceremony from 2 to 4 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 11, in the Popp Martin Student Union, Union Theater. The purchase of a class ring is required to participate.

- Register for Faculty/Staff Social: The Faculty/Staff Social — formerly the Faculty Reception — hosted by the Office of Academic Affairs and the Honors College honor societies, is scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m., Monday, Dec. 8, in Atkins Library, Halton Reading Room.
