Two winter storms in two weeks?

What a stretch it’s been!

After an ice storm followed by around 11 inches of snow — the largest snowfall the Charlotte region has seen in nearly 20 years — our campus teams once again showed what makes this community special.

Thanks to the incredible staff who kept campus running: clearing walkways, keeping buildings warm, supporting students and ensuring essential services never stopped. Facilities management crews, dining services, housing and residence life, safety and security, transportation, OneIT, and teams at the Popp Martin Student Union, Cone Center, Atkins Library, Student Health and UREC — and so many others — stepped up in big ways. The list is long, and every group played a part.

Your dedication kept our campus safe, supported and moving forward. We’re grateful for everything you do.
