- Deadline Approaching: The deadline to nominate a colleague for a 2026 Staff Employee of the Year award is 5 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 11.
- Board of Governors: The UNC System Board of Governors convened its standing committees in January. Chancellor Gaber provided an update to the BOG about UNC Charlotte’s approach to attracting and retaining high-achieving students.
- Package Tracking Form: Mail and package services has created a new package tracking form to better alert the office when a package isn’t delivered as expected. Mail and package services is not responsible for packages delivered by shipping services outside USPS and UPS.
- Niner Research Maintenance: The Division of Research will conduct crucial maintenance from midnight to 11:59 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 17. During this period, Niner Research will be unavailable.
- Tax Support: Members of the UNC Charlotte community who earn $68,000 or less annually are invited to have their income taxes prepared without charge through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program at UNC Charlotte. When UNC Charlotte’s College of Health and Human Services acquired its first anatomy visualization table, the plan was to focus its use in the School of Nursing. More than four years later, the anatomy technology has become a comprehensive, college-wide tool used for both graduate nurse practitioner training and undergraduate anatomy and physiology courses.
