TEDxUNCCharlotte, the University’s licensed TEDx event featuring speakers from across the Charlotte community, starts at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 21. General admission is free; VIP tickets are $25 and include reserved seating and TEDx swag.

- Academic Affairs Weekly News Digest: Learn how the Center for Teaching and Learning’s media production team can bring courses to life with high-quality, engaging instructional media, along with other important updates in this week’s news digest.
- Student engagement survey: Charlotte is participating in the National Survey of Student Engagement. Seniors and first-year students will receive the survey link via email and in Canvas starting Wednesday, Feb. 18; please encourage your students to take the 15-minute survey.
- Reminder: University computers not yet running Windows 25H2 or macOS Tahoe will automatically update over spring break, beginning Monday, March 9. OneIT recommends manually upgrading now to ensure a seamless transition. Labs and podiums will be deferred until the end of the semester.

- Seniors and first-year students: Charlotte is participating in the National Survey of Student Engagement. Look for the survey link in your email and Canvas starting Wednesday, Feb. 18, and take 15 minutes to share your experience and help improve Charlotte.
- HRL summer jobs: Housing and residence life is hiring resident advisors, maintenance assistants, BES custodial staff, conference housing assistants and team leaders, and housing ambassadors. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m., Sunday, March 6.
- Off-campus housing: Want to live off-campus next year, but not sure where to start? Stop by the Off-Campus Housing and Resource Fair from noon to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 24, in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center, food court.
