Educating our nation: Resources for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

On Saturday, April 10, UNC Charlotte students, faculty, staff and leaders marched to protect Asian lives. Now, as we celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, the UNC Charlotte community must increase its knowledge and understanding regarding AAPI experiences and issues.

Dance professor receives Emerging Creators Fellowship

Lowe’s $1.5 million gift will advance AI and machine learning at College of Computing and Informatics

Today, Lowe’s and UNC Charlotte announced that Lowe’s has donated $1.5 million to the College of Computing and Informatics to strengthen UNC Charlotte’s position as a leading technology hub and talent provider for Lowe’s, the Charlotte region and beyond. UNC Charlotte Marriott Hotel & Conference Center officially opened its doors, March 31, 2021. The $87 million, 173,000-square-foot project is owned by the UNC Charlotte Endowment Fund, financed by the UNC Charlotte Foundation and operated by Sage Hotel Management, a Sage Hospitality Group company.
