The Charlotte 49ers, in conjunction with the Epilepsy Foundation of North Carolina, will host the Spring Stroll for Epilepsy from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 8, at the Irwin Belk Track and Field Center. This event is to raise money and awareness for epilepsy. Rain location is the Hauser Pavilion.
Members of several of the 49ers athletic teams will be present to participate in the games and activities that take place before the walk, which circles the facility’s track. Team members will participate in the stroll, too.
Registration for the event is online at www.epilepsync.org. For those interested but unable to attend, the Epilepsy Foundation of North Carolina also accepts donations through its website. Dollars raised for this event go to help fund medication for people who wouldn’t normally be able to fund it.
