Mix electronic music, art, dance and thousands of gallons of DayGlo paint with an arena full of pumped-up college students and one gets “The World’s Largest Paint Party.”

LIFE IN COLOR is bringing its tour, dubbed “The END” (Electronic Never Dies), to Halton Arena at 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 12. Seated tickets are $20; standing room only tickets start at $41 and will increase in price as the arena fills up. Tickets are available through the Halton Arena website, the official LIFE IN COLOR website and ticketreturn.com.

“The show’s been well-received in cities throughout the United States and beyond,” said Zach Rutledge, associate director of events and programming for Halton Arena. “It’s a great opportunity to enjoy such a dynamic artistic experience, hear great electronic music and participate in something as exciting and unique as LIFE IN COLOR right here on UNC Charlotte’s campus.”

LIFE IN COLOR was founded by Committee Entertainment in 2006. The show was originally showcased on college campuses in Florida but has expanded across the country and a few international cities, such as London and Melbourne. Combining high-energy electronic music art and dance, LIFE IN COLOR culminates in a signature “paint blast” - thousands of gallons of fluorescent DayGlo paint are dumped on concertgoers. Attendees leave LIFE IN COLOR shows covered from head to toe with paint and with an outfit that serves as a permanent souvenir of the experience.
