Orbis Grille at PORTAL to open
The Orbis Grille at PORTAL, a new campus dining facility, opens Monday, Aug. 18, and will feature a vibrant mix of breakfast and lunch fare.
According to auxiliary services, Orbis Grille will offer salads, sandwiches and featured entrees with a “global flavor.” Its Evo grill action station, which is a round, open cook top, offers a healthy cooking method and chef interaction.
Fresh coffee, teas and an extensive selection of grab-and-go snacks and beverages, including energy drinks, Kombucha, specialty sodas and infused waters (fresh lemon, berry, cucumber and rosemary), will be on sale, too.
Named for the striking steel sculpture located between Grigg and Duke Centennial Halls, the Orbis Grille will operate from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. It is managed by Chartwells, the University’s campus dining partner.
