U.S. News ranks UNC Charlotte’s undergraduate business programs among nation’s top 24 percent
UNC Charlotte’s undergraduate business programs rank in the top 24 percent nationally, according to the 2016 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges.
UNC Charlotte’s undergraduate business programs are ranked No. 114 out of 478 schools, in a tie with 16 other business schools nationwide.
Across the state, UNC Charlotte ranks No. 4 out of 19 North Carolina schools with accredited undergraduate business programs included in the ranking.
“The Belk College of Business offers a wide array of high-quality undergraduate programs taught by expert faculty members. We are proud of our students, alumni, faculty and staff members in our programs,” said Patricia Mynatt, associate dean for undergraduate programs. “Our students and alumni work at many Fortune 500 companies both in Charlotte and around the world. Charlotte, the second-fastest growing city and the second largest financial services center in the United States, provides an ideal environment for the study of business. Many of our undergraduate alumni hold or have held C-suite and executive positions for many prominent companies in this region.”
UNC Charlotte’s undergraduate business programs are housed in the Belk College of Business. They include undergraduate degrees in accounting, economics and business administration. Majors in the business administration degree program include finance, international business, management, management information systems, marketing and operations and supply chain management, with many concentrations available. The Belk College of Business also offers graduate degree programs, including the nationally ranked MBA, and executive education options.
The undergraduate business program rankings were based solely on peer assessment surveys. To appear on these surveys, undergraduate business programs must be accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. More information about the rankings is online.
