Combs to discuss United Nations for Great Decisions

Cindy Combs, a faculty member in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, will speak on the topic of the United Nations post-2015 at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 3, at UNC Charlotte Center City, Room 204.

This presentation is for the 2016 Great Decisions Lecture Series sponsored by the Office of International Programs. The Foreign Policy Association, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to develop awareness, understanding and informed opinion on U.S. foreign policy and global issues, coordinates this national speaker series. It provides background information and policy options for the most critical issues facing America each year and serves as the focal text for discussion groups across the country.

Combs, who also is faculty advisor for the University’s Model UN program, has taught courses on international law and politics and defense and national security policy. As a researcher, she has studied terrorism, the UN and human rights laws.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is requested.
