MBA named a ‘Tier 1’ program by CEO magazine

UNC Charlotte’s MBA again has been recognized as a top program in the country. CEO Magazine has ranked the Belk College of Business’ MBA in its “Tier 1” for North American universities in the newly released 2016 CEO Magazine Global MBA rankings.

CEO Magazine examines the nuts and bolts of an MBA: the learning environment, class sizes, tuition/fees, faculty, delivery methods, international diversity, gender makeup and more. The publication’s objective is to identify schools that combine exceptional quality with great ROI (return on investment). Other universities with programs in the top tier include Georgetown University, the College of William and Mary and Pepperdine University.

“We are proud to be recognized as a ‘Tier 1’ MBA program by CEO Magazine. This accolade represents the accomplishments of our students and alumni and the growth and reputation of the MBA program in the Belk College of Business,” said Steven Ott, dean of the Belk College of Business. “I’m proud of our faculty and staff and their commitment to excellence for the MBA program and our phenomenal students.”

Based at UNC Charlotte Center City, the University’s MBA has been ranked among the top programs in the nation by both U.S. News and World Report and Businessweek. With more than 300 enrolled students, UNC Charlotte’s MBA program offers the flexibility to complete the degree full-time in less than 17 months or part-time in as little as two years. Offering concentrations in such thriving industries as energy, commercial banking, real estate, finance and business analytics, the MBA program allows students to design an individualized program that realizes their professional goals.
