Calling all 49er ACEs

The newly formed 49er ACE (Alumni Campus Employee) group recently gathered for an end of summer reception at the Harris Alumni Center at Johnson Glen. Currently, there are more than 600 faculty and staff members who are proud UNC Charlotte alumni. The 49er ACE group plans to meet periodically throughout the year for social events, networking opportunities and to engage in community service projects.

During the reception, the group participated in a UNC Charlotte trivia contest. Do you know the answers to questions below?

  • What year was Norm introduced as the UNC Charlotte mascot?
  • What day was the University founded?
  • What is the last line of the UNC Charlotte alma mater?
  • How many times does the UNC Charlotte bell ring at commencement?
