UNC Charlotte employees have the option to receive their Form W-2 electronically for the 2020 tax year. This includes faculty, staff, temporary and student employees. Sign up is required by Dec. 31.
Note: Employees who previously elected to receive their Form W-2 electronically do not need to take action again this year.
Once available, the form can be accessed by logging into the secure My UNCC portal, where it can be viewed, downloaded and printed. Employees will be notified via email when the electronic form is available.
Employees who wish to receive a paper Form W-2 are asked to verify their mailing address (or permanent address if no mailing address is on file) in Banner. At least one active address is required in Banner whether individuals elect a paper or electronic Form W-2.
All employees are encouraged to complete a “paycheck checkup” to ensure their tax withholdings are correct.
