Post-Thanksgiving COVID-19 testing available this week

COVID-19 testing will be offered Tuesday, Dec. 1, through Friday, Dec. 4,  to UNC Charlotte employees and students who may have been exposed to the virus over the Thanksgiving holiday. The University is making this testing available to help protect the community and prevent transmission of the virus

All faculty, staff and students should continue completing the Niner Health Check regularly, promptly reporting any symptoms of the virus or contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19.  

Additional details about post-Thanksgiving on-campus testing: 

  • Who: Any employee or student of UNC Charlotte who traveled or was in contact with large groups or people outside of their immediate household over the Thanksgiving break

  • When: Tuesday, Dec. 1, through Friday, Dec. 4, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. 

  • Where: The Student Health Center

  • Cost: Free

  • Appointments: Appointments are required and may be made by calling 704-687-0172.

    • Once tested, please note on your next Niner Health Check that you are awaiting test results for "mitigation testing."

The University will also offer free exit testing for employees and students ahead of the winter holiday. More details will be shared in the coming days.
