Cortni Schenker, an employee with UNC Charlotte’s Office of OneIT, died Friday, Aug. 20. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Monday, Aug. 23, at Benton’s Cross Roads Baptist Church, 109 E. Lawyers Rd. Monroe, North Carolina.
Schenker, a graduate of Appalachian State University, was an IT Service Desk analyst for more than 16 years and was known for her expertise with Service Desk Banner.
Michael Carlin, vice chancellor for OneIT and chief information officer, stated, “Cortni was a valued colleague and friend whose hard work, dedication and infectious smile touched not only her coworkers but also University students. She will be greatly missed both personally and professionally.”
