The Novant Health Breast Center mobile unit will be on campus from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 4, in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center loading dock, located behind West Deck.
Appointments, which are required, can be reserved by calling 704-384-7226. According to Novant, screening mammograms are covered as preventive care under most insurance plans. For your convenience, Novant Health will file a claim with your provider.
If your last mammogram was not at a Novant Health facility, you can still receive a mammogram at the mobile mammography unit. The Novant team will contact your previous provider to obtain films from your most recent mammogram. Past results are necessary to ensure that no changes have occurred in your breast health.
