Every year, UNC Charlotte awards and recognizes exemplary employees for their hard work and dedication to the campus community and beyond. The Human Resources Department is accepting nominations for the 2022 Staff Employee of the Year awards. Any permanent employee of UNC Charlotte can submit a nomination, and employees are encouraged to recommend colleagues for this honor.
Nominations can be submitted on behalf of an individual employee or a team. All permanent staff employees (SHRA and EHRA) with two or more years of continuous service at UNC Charlotte are eligible for consideration in any one off the five categories:
- Devotion to Duty
- Innovation
- Human Relations
- Community and Public Service
- Safety and Heroism
An exception may be made for employees with less than two years of service in the category of safety and heroism.
Nominations must be submitted online using the 2022 Staff Employee of the Year Nomination Form by 5 p.m., Friday, March 11.
Award recipients will be honored at the annual Employee of the Year Award and Staff Recognition event Tuesday, April 26.
