Student marketing chapter recognized at international conference
UNC Charlotte’s American Marketing Association chapter received a top award during the organization’s 2022 International Collegiate Conference.
Charlotte marketing students competed in several categories during the conference and received a first-place award in the chapter planning category. This is the first time the chapter has won a category since it was re-chartered in 2013, according to Cindy Fox, a lecturer in the Belk College of Business and chapter advisor.
“It melts my heart knowing after the hard work, resilience, determination and time that not only myself but my executive board members put in to ensure success for the AMA chapter that its forever endeavors were noticed and awarded,” said Bryant Hall, president of UNC Charlotte’s AMA chapter.
This year’s conference was a hybrid format held in Chicago; Hall and Fox, along with students and chapter leaders Taylor Gantt Mallory Martinez and Victoria Torres, attended.
