UNC Charlotte professor testifies on Capitol Hill
Steven Rogelberg, professor of organizational science, management and psychology at UNC Charlotte, testified in a congressional hearing Wednesday, June 8. He discussed strategies representatives could use to be better leaders and how they could more effectively manage their staffs to build a broader strategy to navigate a challenging organizational structure.
Rogelberg has authored more than 100 publications that address issues such as team effectiveness, leadership, engagement, health and employee well-being, meetings at work and organizational research methods. His latest book, “The Surprising Science of Meetings: How You Can Lead Your Team to Peak Performance,” was lauded by the Washington Post and by the Business Insider as a top choice for readers interested in leadership.
