Nora Miller ’81, a member of the Office of the Bursar, died Monday, June 13. She was the e-cashier and joined the University in July 2008.
“Nora was just shy of celebrating her 14th anniversary with us,” said Nicole Haire, cashier supervisor. “She was always smiling as she greeted our students and staff. She worked closely with many across campus and grew to know them on a personal level. She was always willing to do what was needed to get the job done. She will be missed by her coworkers and the many friends she made during her tenure at UNC Charlotte.”
Miller, 62, graduated from West Rowan High School in 1978 and completed a bachelor’s degree in intermediate education from the University.
A Celebration of Life will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 26, at McEwen Funeral Home - Mint Hill Chapel. A visitation will be held at 1 p.m.
