Holly Durham appointed associate provost for academic budget
Holly Durham has been named UNC Charlotte’s new associate provost for academic budget, effective Oct. 1. In this role, she will lead the academic budget team in the Office of Academic Affairs.
Durham comes to the University from N.C. State, where she has served as assistant vice chancellor for finance in the Division of Academic and Student Affairs since 2016. Previously, she served as director of finance, business and planning in the Division of Academic and Student Affairs.
“Holly has extensive experience working to advance student success efforts, serving as a strategic partner to academic departments, academic support services, residential life and student affairs,” said Provost Joan Lorden. “We are excited to have her join Charlotte and continue to serve the state that has been a lifetime home for her both professionally and personally.”
Prior to her 15-year tenure at N.C. State, Durham served as associate dean, finance and administration at Duke University Divinity School. She completed a Master of Business Administration from East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from UNC Chapel Hill.
