Community Events: Niner Nation Week

The Tradition Continues.

UNC Charlotte is gearing up for the biggest celebration of the year: Niner Nation Week 2022! Join in as Niner Nation paints the town green, during a week filled with prizes, celebrations, social gatherings, award ceremonies and more, culminating with the University’s signature Homecoming events.

NINER-OWNED BUSINESS SCAVENGER HUNT

Get your game on for a chance to win branded gear, Panthers and Hornets tickets, Blumenthal Broadway Lights seats or $500 worth of gift certificates! As Charlotte’s hometown university, UNC Charlotte is highlighting alumni-owned businesses around the region for their contributions to the Queen City and beyond. Read all the details.

UPTOWN CELEBRATION

Where: Truist Center Plaza, 214 N. Tryon Street

When: 12 p.m.

Join Chancellor Gaber and special surprise guests Tuesday, October 18, for a spirited Uptown Celebration. Attendees will be treated to lunch and snacks, free UNC Charlotte gear and major giveaways, including Panthers and Hornets tickets, signed Charlotte FC jerseys, 704 Shop gift certificates and more! Free, but registration is requested.

Carry you 49er Pride throughout the week — and region — and join fellow alumni for food, drink and branded gear at some fan-favorite spots like Dilworth Neighborhood Grille, Cabarrus Brewing and Armored Cow. See all of the events and reserve your spot.
