Faculty and staff volunteer at Second Harvest Food Bank Sort-A-Rama

 UNC Charlotte faculty and staff volunteered at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina Sort-A-Rama held at the Charlotte Convention Center Wednesday, Sept. 28. The University was a sponsor of the event.

Niner volunteers packed 842 boxes of food for families in need in the region. Overall, 16,000 boxes were packed during the half-day event.

Food Lion, Atrium Health, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, Equitable, TIAA, Armstrong, Crescent, Duke Energy and Jackrabbit Technologies also co-sponsored this event.
