Faculty and staff can help the University save energy on campus throughout winter break by following three simple suggestions from the Office of Sustainability.
- Shutdown and/or unplug power cords for electronics and appliances, including monitors, desktop printers, coffee makers, mini-refrigerators and microwave ovens.
- Turn lights off or down to safety lighting levels.
- Close inactive fume hood sashes and power down non-essential equipment in labs.
