Larry Blomberg, a building environmental services manager, died Sunday, Feb. 26.
Blomberg, who joined the University in June 2010, worked with the Popp Martin Student Union before transferring to the Facilities Management Office in 2015.
Solomon Franklin, FM’s director of business operations and quality assurance, stated, “Larry’s accomplishments and the relationships he built during his years in FM are cherished, and he will be missed by many.”
The funeral will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 4, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 725 Deese St., Monroe, North Carolina. More details are on the Holland Funeral Service website.
