Why did you choose UNC Charlotte?
I loved the teaching program UNC Charlotte has in place, and I absolutely fell in love with the campus and the amazing club field hockey program.
What is your favorite part of campus?
My favorite part of campus is our club’s field, and we are lucky to share our turf with the USA women’s national team. My favorite memories so far from my freshmen year have been made on that field, with my favorite people. The laughing and cheering, the goofiness and love, have truly made my year.
What is the most rewarding part of being on the club field hockey team?
The most rewarding part of my position is advocating for my team and working with our president to fundraise and create a new definition of our program.
Why should the Niner Nation support the club field hockey crowdfunding project?
Niner Nation should be excited to support our project because we are the very first developed field hockey team, and we are the only field hockey team on campus. We are part of the National Field Hockey League and are held to the highest standard of sportsmanship and professionalism. We are raising money to help purchase new uniforms for the team, allowing us to have better visibility on the field, build a greater sense of unity and instill pride within the team as we represent Charlotte.
What are three words to describe UNC Charlotte?
Three words to describe UNC Charlotte are beautiful, lively and inclusive.
What do you like to do when you aren’t studying or playing field hockey?
I like to read, hangout with my friends, go shopping and hike. I am a go with the flow person.
