"Feminist Coming Out Day," Monday, March 24, will provide an opportunity to discuss what it really means to be a feminist. Sponsored by the Multicultural Resource Center (MRC), the day’s programs will cover the true definition of feminism, the male role in feminism and feminists throughout history. All events are free and open to the public.
PRIDE Spectrum, in partnership with the Campus Activities Board (CAB), will host the seventh annual “Scarlet Fever” fundraiser for AIDS Walk Charlotte at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 27, in Cone University Center, McKnight Hall. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The event is free for all students with their University ID and $7 for all other attendees.

Veteran UNC Charlotte staff member Christine Reed Davis recently assumed the new role of associate vice chancellor for student affairs and dean of students. Newly independent Bosnia-Herzegovina witnessed the most bloodshed; it was the site of concentration camps and rape centers, ethnic cleansing and sustained sieges of major cities. Hundreds of thousands died and millions fled their homes to forge new lives elsewhere in Bosnia or abroad.
