A Whole New Conference
We’ve moved up. This season, the Charlotte 49ers join a new level of competition: Conference USA in the NCAA Division 1 Football Bowl Subdivision, also known as FBS. What does that mean? Stronger opponents are one thing we can count on. Here’s Head Coach Brad Lambert’s take:
“Welcome to FBS Football. It’s challenging. Our schedule has two previous conference champions and five schools that were bowl eligible with at least six wins. It’s a good home schedule for our fans. It’s a tough schedule that we are excited to play."

No one does tailgating better than the UNC Charlotte Alumni Association. Alumni staff have been hard at work creating the ultimate Tailgate Village. Secure your tailgate tickets here; individual spaces and season packages are available.
Tailgate includes:
Covered space, seating and restroom facilities in the new Hauser Alumni Pavilion, full buffet, beer, wine, and other non-alcoholic beverages, a gaming area for children and a live DJ.
